Amy Kappel
Sr. Director Customer Service Operations
Amy Kappel serves as the Director of Customer Care at Roadrunner. In this role,
she oversees Onboarding, Customer Success, Strategic Accounts, Sales Support,
and Non-Brick & Mortar Customer Service. By partnering with the sales organization
to truly understand customer challenges and needs, Amy and her team create
positive and meaningful customer experiences as they develop long-lasting,
trusting partnerships with the company’s top strategic accounts.
Amy began her transportation career in 2013 as a Customer Service Specialist at
Yellow. During ten years with Yellow, Amy took on many roles with progressively
increased responsibilities in the Sales and Customer Service organizations, including
the supervision of Quality, Training, and Salesforce Project Management. Most
recently, Amy served as the Director of Customer Care for approximately 225
employees across 11 locations in the U.S. and Canada. Amy is passionate about the
LTL industry and enjoys creating an environment that fosters the essential growth
of customer relationships and encourages employee development. Amy and her
boyfriend Aaron live in the Des Moines, IA metro with their five fur-children.
