Jeff Bacon serves as Regional Vice President of Operations – East at Roadrunner, overseeing six Service Centers and ensuring excellence in Safety, Service, and Quality for both internal and external customers. He is committed to driving operational performance through strategic leadership, strong engagement, and a dedication to continuous improvement. By fostering a high-performance culture among coworkers, employees, and independent contractors, the East Region consistently delivers outstanding results.
Jeff is proud to be part of Roadrunner 2.0, where a flat organizational structure allows for rapid innovation—from an idea on Monday to implementation by Friday. Roadrunner’s data-driven decision-making and collaborative approach create a clear vision and objective for success.
Prior to Roadrunner, Jeff spent 35 years at Yellow Corporation in various leadership roles, progressing from Dock Supervisor to Area Vice President. He holds a BBA from the University of Mississippi, where he was a three-year varsity football letterman. Outside of work, Jeff is passionate about classic cars and is currently refurbishing his one-owner 1965 Mustang and 1966 Mustang Fastback. He also enjoys traveling with his wife, Paula, and exploring various outdoor activities. Jeff has three grown children: Hanna, Olivia, and Ty.
