Vice President of Purchase Transportation and Network Planning
Jeff Grega serves as Vice President of Purchase Transportation and Network Planning at Roadrunner. Jeff focuses on efficiencies within the Linehaul Network and building partnerships with outside purchase power. Jeff also leads the team with building stronger relationships with Independent Contractors in assisting them in settlements, miles, safety, and reliability. Jeff loves the new Roadrunner and utilizes his leadership skills in making the team feel important to the operation and wanting to be in the work place. Jeff believes leadership is about engagement and trust, allowing the team to grow within that framework, which ultimately will drive results.
Prior to joining Roadrunner in 2021, Jeff had many roles in his 25 years at Yellow Corporation starting as a dock supervisor, Dock Operations Manager, Regional Linehaul Manager, Corporate Asset Manager, Director in Network Planning, and Director of Linehaul Operations.
Jeff received his Bachelors degree from Kent State University. He enjoys spending time with his Wife and two Golden Doodles, and visiting their adult kids who are scattered across the country. Living most of his life in Ohio, Jeff is an avid Ohio sports fan and he often states it never gets old saying O-H-I-O!!!!!
